Job Title: Real Estate Law Clerk

Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our law firm, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and clients in the areas of commercial and residential real estate law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with commercial and residential purchase, sale, and financing transactions, including drafting documentation and corresponding with clients and other lawyer's offices.
  • Perform sub-searches of title and off-title searches, and assist with registration of plans of subdivision and other land development matters.
  • Prepare various documents in Teraview, including transfers, charges, easements, notices, discharges, and reporting letters and accounts to clients.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, and open files in PCLaw.
  • Draft and amend all correspondence, and prepare closing documentation for commercial and residential purchase, sale, and financing transactions.
  • Prepare and organize closing of subdivision lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer.
Requirements:
  • A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position in a Commercial or Residential Real Estate Law practice.
  • Proficiency with PC Law, Microsoft Office Suite, Teraview, and Conveyancer.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files, with minimal supervision.
