Job Title: Real Estate Law Clerk

Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of commercial and residential purchase and sale transactions, including drafting documentation and communicating with clients and other law firms.
  • Perform title and off-title searches, and assist with the registration of plans of subdivision and other land development matters.
  • Assist with commercial leasing transactions, and prepare various documents in Teraview, including transfers, charges, easements, notices, and discharges.
  • Prepare reporting letters and accounts to clients, and organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
  • Open files in PCLaw, and draft and amend all correspondence.
  • Draft closing documentation for commercial and residential purchase and sale transactions, including preparing necessary corporate documentation.
  • Prepare and organize the closing of subdivision lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer.
Requirements:
  • A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position in a commercial or residential real estate law practice.
  • Proficiency with PC Law, Microsoft Office Suite, Teraview, and Conveyancer.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files, with minimal supervision.
