Millwright with Power Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright with Power Engineer certification to join our team at Dessert Holdings Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical expertise and support to our production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair equipment and machinery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and production assets.
- Work collaboratively with other trades groups to complete project assignments and ensure smooth production operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Develop and implement improvements in food process machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial / AB/ ON/ BC Millwright or Millwright Apprentice certification.
- Valid Power Engineer Certificate, with 4th class certification or higher.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical plant environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight shifts, and be available for overtime as needed.
- Competitive hourly rate of $44.13.
