Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures and therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
We offer a competitive salary range of $34.24 - $39.96 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance.
