As an ICDW, you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of young children. You will be responsible for creating engaging activities that foster social interaction, personal development, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in infants and children.
  • Collaborate with parents to understand their children's needs and provide individualized support.
  • Offer guidance and feedback to parents on child development milestones and behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and observations.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children in our care.
  • Participate in training programs related to early childhood education, trauma-informed care, and mental health.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with specialized training in Early Childhood Education.
  • Registered Early Childhood Education Assistant certification or equivalent.
  • Certification in Infant/Child Mental Health is preferred.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Minimum three months of experience working with infants and children in a childcare setting.
Skills and Capabilities:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
