About the Role:

The Digital Asset Management Director will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities relating to the engineering, procurement, and construction management of surface infrastructure on a large-scale mining project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of surface infrastructure project objectives, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls.
  • Coordinate with project leadership and project services to identify and prepare required reporting formats and key performance indicators.
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications, develop strategies for execution, and determine appropriate construction and contracting methods.
  • Interface with environment, permitting, and licensing teams to ensure necessary permits and licenses are identified and tracked.
  • Establish and fulfill governance and oversight roles for managing external contractors.
  • Facilitate, review, and provide project leadership with feedback and endorsement for surface infrastructure estimates, budgets, forecasts, and schedules.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience.
  • ~10+ years of leadership and management experience in the design, procurement, development, and management of remote construction sites in the mining industry.
  • Efficient and skilled in planning, organization, leadership, management, and administrative processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate directly with project leadership on key issues.
  • Complete knowledge of complex projects with engineering, procurement, construction, jobsite management, and other project-related activities.
  • Experience in surface infrastructure design and construction, including powerplants, remote accommodations, roads, and pads.
  • Ability to mentor project staff and provide area leadership.
