About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our credit card business by providing analytical insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed campaign post-analyses at the portfolio and channel of acquisition levels to support business decision-making.
  • Identify strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth, including the analysis of credit card acquisition and retention programs and campaigns.
  • Conduct deep-dive analytics to provide business insights and support the Cards team in meeting their strategic goals.
  • Analyze how campaigns drive client behavior and provide analytical support in the creation of cardholder journey stories and presentations to Senior Management.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and deliver quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Math, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • 2-4 years' experience in Marketing analytics, supporting direct marketing campaign post-analysis, performance measurement, and KPI measurement.
  • 2-4 years' experience in the Credit Card industry is strongly preferred, but experience in other financial institutions supporting analytical requests related to Lending, Investment, Deposit, and Insurance is also acceptable.
  • SQL experience.
  • SAS experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Digital analytics experience.
  • Familiarity with building reports and dashboards.
Soft Skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate the results of his/her work to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to drive insights and make recommendations for future campaign improvements to drive strategy and optimize campaign budget allocation.
  • Good partnering skills and comfortable with fronting the relationship with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to present the results of his/her analytical work to a non-technical audience (strong story-telling skills).
  • Excellent relationship building, verbal, and written communications skills.
