Field Claims Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Claims Representative to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a Field Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex commercial and personal lines property claims in a timely and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to investigate claims and gather information from customers, contractors, and other relevant parties.
- Document claim files by meeting with all involved parties and obtaining necessary reports and statements.
- Analyze information gathered and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess damage.
- Negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims within established authority limits.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products and industry developments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of property claims experience, preferably as a field adjuster.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Strong aptitude for technology and excellent computer skills.
- Xactanalysis and Xactimate experience is an asset.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
