Location: Mississauga, Halton, GTA, Central, Dufferin

Job Type: Part Time / Casual

Closing the Gap Healthcare is dedicated to providing Canadians with high-quality care in various home and community settings.

We are seeking a skilled NSWOC Nurse to join our team. As a NSWOC Nurse, you will provide care to clients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs, enabling them to remain in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage clients with wound, ostomy, and continence care needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet clients' needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Assess clients for appropriateness of virtual consults

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC) or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the CNO
  • Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C) certification
  • Mask Fit test
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in community or clinical/hospital setting
