We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Radisson Hotel Fort St. John. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of hotel policies and procedures.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure efficient room allocation.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Customer Service: Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent service to guests and colleagues alike.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
