**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our Central Fill location in Burnaby. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
  • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
  • Verify the completeness and authenticity of prescriptions.
  • Perform the final check of prepared prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform all technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.
  • Support and maintain dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to merchandising programs and operational procedures.
  • Direct and observe Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary activities.

**Requirements**

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Regulated Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
  • Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset.
