Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Coastal Propane Inc. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Financial Analysis
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement financial models to support business decisions
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Skills
    • Accurate and detail-oriented
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
