We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at City Furniture & Appliances. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain records of employee benefits and compensation.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to management.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
