Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Office Agent to join our team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and memories to our visitors. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, and your warm and friendly demeanor will set the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and registering guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing guests with resort and facility information
  • Booking guests into their rooms according to their reservations, requests, and availability
  • Performing cashier duties, processing payments, and foreign currency exchange
  • Handling telephone and fax messages for guests
  • Coordinating special services requested by guests, such as laundry, room service, and additional room inventory
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all operational departments
  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and employees
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Guest service experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Computer literacy in MS Office; Opera an asset
  • Front Desk experience an asset
  • Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
