Position Overview:
As a Safety Compliance Engineer at ROCKWOOL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of our production machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safety compliance of all production equipment designed by our engineering teams.
- Ensure the completion of CE-marking for machinery prior to on-site testing and commissioning.
- Engage in modernization projects and both brownfield and greenfield engineering initiatives.
- Manage mandatory documentation upon project completion, including:
- Compiling and reviewing technical documents.
- Leading the fulfillment of Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR).
- Supporting the engineering team with insights from Harmonized Standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections during equipment installation, including safety audits as part of the Site Acceptance Test.
- Optionally participate in supplier inspections before equipment dispatch.

Quality Management:
- Review specifications for external suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintain proactive communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Machinery Safety (Functional Safety).
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineering.
- Familiarity with functional safety for production lines.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of relevant directives such as Pressure Equipment, Low Voltage, EMC, and ATEX is advantageous.
- Certification as a Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) or similar qualifications is a plus.
