The Director of US Market Access Pipeline for Neuroscience and Eyecare will spearhead the team responsible for formulating U.S. market access strategies for priority assets in the early pipeline of the extensive Allergan Neuroscience and Eyecare portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of both private and public payer segments in the U.S., enabling them to articulate the voice of the customer effectively. This role requires strategic and critical thinking, the ability to forge strong, trusting relationships for cross-functional influence, and representation of US Market Access in governance and business development discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the US Market Access Pipeline Strategy Team, focusing on the development of Integrated Asset Strategies, Disease Area Strategies, and Early Integrated Value Propositions within the Neuroscience and Eyecare portfolio.
- Ensure that the team's resource requirements are met, managing budget allocations and asset assignments to achieve critical enterprise objectives for pipeline assets.
- Support the team in informing early asset development through initial engagements centered on market access evidence needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on vital business development opportunities by assessing pricing and access strategies.
- Provide therapeutic area leadership, serving as the primary contact for Business Unit Heads.
Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in commercial and government payer dynamics is essential.
- Experience in leading both primary and secondary payer research initiatives.
- Knowledge of government contracting, acquisition trends, and customer purchasing behaviors.
- Experience in pipeline development and/or market access launches.
