Geriatric Medicine Specialist Opportunity in Hamilton

**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Geriatrician to lead our team in Waikato Older Persons and Rehabilitation service. As a specialist in Geriatric Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults and developing new models of care to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist care to older adults in the community and inpatient settings
- Develop and implement new models of care to improve patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless care
- Participate in continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Training and postgraduate qualifications as a Geriatrician
- Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible to apply for Provisional Vocational Registration
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
