About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at JAS KULAR & ASSOCIATES INC. as a key member of our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, aligning financial objectives with business goals and objectives.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the organization's financial health and stability.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the management of financial and administrative functions, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Human Resources Management: Lead the development and implementation of human resources strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive growth and expansion.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and manage risk to protect the organization's assets and reputation.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Develop and implement strategies to support the recruitment and integration of newcomers and refugees into the organization.
  • Support for Indigenous Communities: Foster relationships with indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations to promote reconciliation and inclusion.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to prevent discrimination.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
