Financial Planning and Analysis Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Director to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and applying findings from financial reports to inform management on all aspects of company finance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in gathering, interpreting, and reporting financial information. You will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the functions of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to enhance overall business performance
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze financial trends and opportunities
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders to inform strategic decision-making

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a management accountant or similar role
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CPA) preferred
  • Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office
  • Analytical mind with aptitude in math
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A problem-solver with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
