About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team at Original Fire Games LTD. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the artistic aspects of our video game projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and guide a team of artists to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual assets.
    • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members to help them grow professionally.
  • Artistic Direction
    • Develop and maintain a clear artistic vision for our games, ensuring consistency across all visual elements.
    • Collaborate with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the game's art style aligns with the overall creative direction.
  • Project Management
    • Plan, organize, and direct the artistic aspects of production, ensuring timely delivery of assets and meeting project milestones.
    • Coordinate and direct the photography of production, working closely with the production team to ensure high-quality results.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and 3D graphic software, with experience in Unity3D.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality artistic assets.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate artistic vision and provide clear feedback.
