About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Indish Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Plan and execute menu cycles to ensure consistency and quality
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
    • Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Financial Management
    • Manage kitchen expenses and inventory to ensure profitability
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
