We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Attendant to join our team at Carewest Innovative Healthcare. As a Nursing Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Job Summary:The Nursing Attendant will work under the supervision of the Client Service Manager to provide on-going client care, observing, monitoring, and reporting on client status/condition. This includes delivering prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure. The successful candidate will maintain professional and ethical standards at all times, adhering to Carewest's Frame of Reference, Philosophy of Care, and Carewest policies.
Responsibilities:- Provide on-going client care, observing, monitoring, and reporting on client status/condition
- Deliver prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure
- Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
- Graduation from Grade 12 is required, plus graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required
- Must be physically capable of managing the frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients
- Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory is required
