Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Northwood Plaza Hotel and Banquet Room. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our hotel and banquet room, ensuring that our facilities are always clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the hotel and banquet room are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
- Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of the hotel and banquet room to identify any areas that require cleaning or maintenance, and ensure that all facilities are in good working order.
- Manage Cleaning Supplies: Order and manage cleaning supplies to ensure that the hotel and banquet room are always well-stocked.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that all areas of the hotel and banquet room are clean and well-maintained.
- Accessible Recruitment: Ensure that our recruitment processes are accessible and inclusive for all candidates, including those with disabilities.
- Cross-Cultural Training: Provide cross-cultural training to all employees to ensure that they are aware of and sensitive to the needs of diverse guests and colleagues.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees, and provide support and resources to help them succeed in their new roles.
- Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations, and provide cultural competency training to all employees to ensure that they are aware of and sensitive to the needs of Indigenous guests and colleagues.
- Secondary School Diploma: A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-2 Years of Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is required.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
