The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities at Econo Lodge City Center Inn. This position requires a strong leader who can manage a team effectively and ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in housekeeping or facility management.
- Recruit, train, and oversee cleaning staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping personnel.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Advise on or arrange for additional services such as repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Process payments for specialized cleaning services.
- Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
- Coordinate work schedules and activities with other departments.
This role also involves participation in various community programs that support:
- Newcomers and Refugees: Engaging in initiatives that assist newcomers and refugees.
- Youth Employment: Contributing to programs aimed at supporting youth job opportunities.
- Veterans: Involvement in initiatives that aid veterans.
