Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to inquiries, and supporting our sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Field incoming inquiries and follow up on warm leads for potential used equipment sales
- Provide support to the Sales Manager and Outside Sales Representatives, including preparation of quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
- Coordinate with the service team to prepare units for sale, ensuring compliance with customers' conditions and requests
- Conduct post-sale follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction with their equipment purchases
- Enter customer information and notes in the CRM system
- Ensure branch inventory remains accurate
- Participate in sales and promotional events
- Occasionally attend in-person client meetings with the Outside Sales Team
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales function
- Knowledge of construction equipment is a definite asset
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset, but not required
- Valid Class G driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma would be an asset but is not required
- Passion for sales and customer service, and a desire to learn and develop as a sales professional
- Very detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; both in-person and over the phone
- Very comfortable with computers - knowledge of CRM systems & Microsoft Office is a definite asset
