Position Overview

The AM Sorter is responsible for categorizing and organizing freight based on its destination, weight, dimensions, and form to align with client delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Unload freight from curbside vehicles onto the conveyor and from conveyor back into curbside vehicles
- Remove freight from conveyor or chute for dispatch
- Load freight into linehaul or cube trucks and trailers
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
- Manually handle bulk or non-conveyable items
- Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify incorrectly sorted items and those marked for priority or weekend delivery

Qualifications

No specialized education is required.
No prior experience is necessary.

Skills Required

Experience in Distribution Centers is advantageous.
