Job Summary

Mr. Souvlaki is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure that our team is adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Mr. Souvlaki, you will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, interacting with customers and staff on a daily basis. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
