Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at APPLY STARS CONSULTING INC. as a key member of our IT department.

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees via phone, email, or in-person
  • Research and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new applications and software
  • Set up and configure computer equipment, including hardware and software installations
  • Perform backups and recoveries of critical data
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of computer systems, software, and network infrastructure
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BMC Remedy experience
  • Knowledge of networking hardware and security
  • Experience with desktop applications and file management software
  • MS Office and MS Windows proficiency
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
