Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Wok Box involves overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team, ensuring that high standards of food quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Scheduling: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to quality control standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding operations.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of the establishment's culinary offerings.
  • Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee the assembly of food trays.
  • Delivery Oversight: Supervise the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Candidates should be prepared for:

  • Extended periods of standing
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Frequent walking
Experience Requirements

Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in food service or a similar role.
