About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2472439 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring exceptional quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative and Financial
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food preparation and supplies.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
