Process Optimization Engineer

We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Chemical Engineer with extensive technical expertise and a strong focus on enhancing operational processes. The selected candidate will engage in both office-based and fieldwork to assess, refine, and advance various processes, machinery, and facilities. Collaboration with a diverse team of engineers and professionals will be essential to grasp project objectives, devise and present solutions, and assist in the execution, troubleshooting, and evaluation of plans throughout the project lifecycle.

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate a high level of knowledge, effective communication, keen observation, organizational skills, and a dedication to achieving project milestones. Strong interpersonal abilities, time management, and presentation skills are also crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Applying scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to address challenges and enhance processes.
  • Designing, proposing, executing, reviewing, and adjusting plans to meet organizational objectives.
  • Monitoring production workflows, conducting investigations, and identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and quality.
  • Utilizing computer systems to gather and analyze data.
  • Developing safety protocols and waste management strategies.
  • Visiting project sites to understand requirements and design, implement, troubleshoot, test, and optimize processes, equipment, and facilities.
  • Supporting the formulation of budgets and timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience or advanced education may be highly valued.
  • Industry-specific knowledge may be necessary.
  • Some roles may require or prefer additional certifications or licenses.
  • Strong grasp of chemistry, mathematics, biology, and engineering principles.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
