Job Summary

Resonaite is seeking a skilled Release Train Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will focus on process optimization, coordination, and execution across a platform or journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through releases using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Determine Program Increments within an overall solution that spans across the platform or Journeys.
  • Facilitate PI Readiness through coaching and supporting development of Vision, Product Roadmap, Features, and Releases.
  • Facilitate System Demos, PI Planning, Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.
  • Facilitate Synchronization meetings to keep delivery aligned with business outcomes.
  • Work cross-functionally to align strategy, methodology, and execution with stakeholders.
  • Escalate and track impediments from teams across a Product Family or Journey.
  • Manage Risks and Dependencies across a Product Family or Journey.
  • Provide input on resourcing to help teams identify bottlenecks.
  • Partner with Business Owners, Product Managers, and Product Owners to ensure strategy, vision, and road map alignment and execution.
  • Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge for agile execution and participate in capability building for the team and business unit.
  • Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in an Agile environment, including experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role.
  • 2+ years experience as a Release Train Engineer.
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale Agile transformations or projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and scaling frameworks such as SAFe.
  • Proficient in using Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
