Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapy department at Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized respiratory care to patients in various clinical settings, including ICU E/S, CCU, and the Hyperbaric Unit.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients in ICU E/S, CCU, and the Hyperbaric Unit
- Collaborate with physicians and RNs to develop and implement patient care plans
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
- Conduct ECG interpretations, pressure monitoring, and airway management
- Participate in Code Blue team and RACE team
- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
- Current General Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
- Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care (CBRC) exam
- Valid BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent 3 years experience in an adult critical care setting
