Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Port 701 Marina Side Dining and Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train and develop our staff in their job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Hire and manage our food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to deliver outstanding results.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality control, ensuring that our food and service meet the expectations of our customers.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Work closely with our chef to prepare and submit reports on food orders and inventory.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
