Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Busaba Thai Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail. You will be working in a team environment and will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
