Principal Bridge Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in the Ontario region. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Building/Facility design projects.
Responsibilities:- Develop structural deliverables for all phases of building/facilities projects, including conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design.
- Collaborate with architecture and mechanical/electrical teams to create comprehensive designs.
- Participate in the development of structural engineering and design effort hour estimates, material takeoffs, and construction cost estimates.
- Extract engineering information from CAD drawings and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
- Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
- Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and 12+ years of related Structural design experience in facilities and industrial buildings.
- Professional Engineer registration is required (or PENG in process may be considered).
- Proficiency in utilizing Microstation, Civil 3D CAD, and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
- Prefer experience with REVIT.
