Job Summary

EVRAZ North America is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the successful execution of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage capital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and operations departments, ensuring that equipment and machinery are properly maintained and operated.
  • Stay up-to-date with EVRAZ business and product manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project proposals and requirement specifications, ensuring that they meet company standards and project objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing projects in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with machinery, fabrication, welding, and hydraulics, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
