We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technologist to join our team at Philcan Group Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production processes, designing plant layouts, and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Process Development: Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs to optimize manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
- Facilities Design: Design plant layouts and production facilities to meet the needs of our manufacturing operations.
- Work Measurement: Conduct work measurement or other studies to identify areas for improvement and optimize production workflows.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data and samples to inform production decisions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Procedure Development: Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Estimating and Scheduling: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support production planning and execution.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, project management software, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines: Experienced in operating CNC machines to support production operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing engineering or industrial technology.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
