Job Title: Manufacturing Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technologist to join our team at Philcan Group Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing production programs, designing plant layouts, and conducting work measurement studies. They will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, developing manufacturing procedures, and assisting in preparing estimates and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production programs to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Design plant layouts and production facilities to optimize workflow and safety
  • Conduct work measurement studies to identify areas for improvement
  • Collect and analyze data to inform production decisions
  • Develop manufacturing procedures to ensure quality and consistency
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and reports to support business decisions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, operations management)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a sheet metal shop environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
