Work Schedule:
The selected candidate will be required to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as necessary. Please be aware that schedules may be adjusted based on operational requirements.
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on the BAND J Range: $56.05
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within the interprofessional team, delivering compassionate and family-centered emergency care.
Qualifications- Valid Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
- Current BCLS certification and a commitment to obtaining ACLS certification within six months.
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in an emergency department setting.
- Completion of an accredited Coronary Care 1 program or proof of current enrollment, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- RNAO membership is preferred.
- Critical Care Certificate and/or ENC(C) is a valuable asset.
- TNCC and ENPC certifications are highly recommended.
- Strong physical assessment skills; courses in Physical Assessment are beneficial.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to a patient and family-centered care environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team as well as independently.
- Well-developed organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and leadership experience.
- Strong attendance and performance records, with a commitment to maintaining these standards.
- Dedication to fostering a healthy and safe workplace for all, adhering to organizational policies and health and safety legislation.
