Work Schedule:

The selected candidate will be required to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed. Please be aware that schedules may adjust based on operational requirements.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $56.05 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within the interprofessional team, delivering compassionate and family-centered emergency care.

Qualifications
  • Valid Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
  • Current BCLS certification and a commitment to obtaining ACLS certification within six months.
  • At least two years of recent experience in an emergency department.
  • Completion of an accredited Coronary Care 1 program or proof of current enrollment or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Preferred membership with RNAO.
  • Critical Care Certificate and/or ENC(C) is an asset.
  • TNCC and ENPC certifications are highly recommended.
  • Strong physical assessment skills; Physical Assessment courses are advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a patient/family-centered care environment.
  • Exemplary critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team and independently.
  • Well-developed organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and leadership experience.
  • Proven attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these standards.
  • Commitment to a safe workplace for all by adhering to health and safety policies and best practices.
