Work Schedule:
The selected candidate will be required to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed. Please be aware that schedules may adjust based on operational requirements.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $56.05 per hour
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within the interprofessional team, delivering compassionate and family-centered emergency care.
Qualifications- Valid Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
- Current BCLS certification and a commitment to obtaining ACLS certification within six months.
- At least two years of recent experience in an emergency department.
- Completion of an accredited Coronary Care 1 program or proof of current enrollment or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Preferred membership with RNAO.
- Critical Care Certificate and/or ENC(C) is an asset.
- TNCC and ENPC certifications are highly recommended.
- Strong physical assessment skills; Physical Assessment courses are advantageous.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to a patient/family-centered care environment.
- Exemplary critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team and independently.
- Well-developed organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and leadership experience.
- Proven attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these standards.
- Commitment to a safe workplace for all by adhering to health and safety policies and best practices.
