Duties and Responsibilities

As a General Manager at Jack Astor's, you'll be responsible for:

  • Working with our team to deliver exceptional food quality, guest experience, and service
  • Coaching and leading our team members to ensure they receive great training and support
  • Managing financials and working to achieve and exceed established goals
  • Living and teaching our values and promises
  • Using strong time management skills and attention to detail to complete tasks
  • Spreading enthusiasm and energy among our team members

Qualifications

We're looking for experienced restaurant managers with a strong track record of success. If you have:

  • 3-5 years of previous restaurant management or supervisory experience in a comparable environment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Comfort with using computers and learning new software
  • A winning mindset and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Previous experience with scheduling, labor, and product cost control, inventory
  • Previous experience in developing a team
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Knowledge of provincial employment legislation
