Customer Service Specialist

At Convoy Supply, we're looking for a skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team at our Courtney location. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate delivery and pickup of customer orders with our operations team, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Provide expert knowledge of our construction materials and their applications, educating customers on the best solutions for their needs.
  • Generate, place, and confirm purchase orders with suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  • Manage customer payments, logging sales and adhering to administrative and accounting procedures.
  • Participate in physical inventory of warehouse materials, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience assisting customers with product procurement, preferably in the building supply and/or construction industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries, handle a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Excellent decision-making and initiative-taking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Well-organized, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • A respectful team player, with a positive and professional attitude.
