Retail Store Manager

WANDERING RIVER QUICK STOP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas bar and retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and optimal store presentation.
- Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive customer experience by providing exceptional sales support, resolving customer complaints, and promoting our products and services.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure timely restocking of merchandise.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Rural area, gas bar environment
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, initiative, and judgement
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 to 40 hours per week
- English Language: Primary language of communication
