Health and Safety Technician

At Tenaris, we are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Technician to join our team in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate hazards and risks.
  • Implement and maintain HSE procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze statistics and trends to identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address HSE concerns.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a related Health and Safety role with similar responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
