Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Azores Cambridge Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of retail staff, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Lead Retail Team Members: Directly supervise and lead a team of 5-10 retail staff, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and retail salespersons.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales tasks and duties to retail staff, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered and customers receive excellent service.
- Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their experience.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
