Hilltop Family Store is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Language:The primary language of this role is English.
Work Schedule:This is a full-time position, with a regular work schedule of 40 hours per week.
