Position Overview:

The Area Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the department, including maintenance, parking, and snow management.

This role reports directly to the department's Assistant and General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise frontline teams, including training, conflict resolution, and operational planning.

· Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, ensuring exceptional service to guests and collaboration among staff.

· Exhibit initiative in routine operations and demonstrate sound judgment in emergencies.

· Understand and manage all facets of cleaning, parking, and snow removal operations.

· Collaborate effectively with other departments across the mountain.

· Address work orders, manage complaints, and oversee quality control of cleaning services.

· Organize waste management and recycling initiatives.

· Maintain accurate documentation of all operational activities and report incidents involving company assets.

· Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols, promoting a secure environment for guests and staff.

· Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of team members.

· Maintain knowledge of janitorial equipment operations and maintenance.

· Lead by example, striving for excellence in safety, service, and job satisfaction.

Qualifications:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive under pressure and attention to detail.

· Self-motivated problem solver with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

· Excellent communication abilities.

· Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.

· A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education is advantageous.

· Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strategic planning skills.

· Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is beneficial.

· First Aid certification is a plus.

· Mental Health First Aid training is an asset.
