Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Hotel Squamish Operations Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and conduct performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, and respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, and ensure that all housekeeping staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
