About the Team & Business Line:

Our Fund Administration division is the cornerstone of Citco's operations, recognized for its expertise in alternative asset management and accounting services. We prioritize ongoing investment in technology and professional development, empowering our team to provide exceptional service to our clients.

About You:

  • You possess a solid background in accounting or finance, demonstrated by:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, along with
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hedge fund accounting or investment fund accounting, particularly with derivative instruments and external investors.
  • Progress towards or completion of professional designations such as CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, or CFA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • You have a strong grasp of investment strategies and financial products, including derivatives.
  • Your experience includes reviewing deliverables and managing team outputs.
  • You have demonstrated supervisory or management capabilities.
  • You are adept at collaborating across various teams within an operational framework.
  • Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent.
  • You exhibit strong financial reporting, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Your proficiency in Office applications, particularly Excel, is noteworthy.
  • You thrive in a challenging and professional work environment.

Your Role:

  • You will be responsible for preparing monthly Net Asset Value calculations, which encompass: Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations, Income and Expense Accruals, Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations, Financial Statement preparation, and trial balance reviews.
  • Oversee and ensure the timely and quality delivery of client outputs.
  • Engage with senior management and clients to facilitate new client onboarding and transitions.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing external audit processes.
  • Communicate with clients to address inquiries or clarify transaction processing requests, providing technical accounting insights.
  • Collaborate with various internal groups, including Operations, Tax, Investor Relations, and Financial Statement teams.
  • Review partnership agreements, PPMs, and other relevant materials for client funds.
  • Participate in the implementation of fund structures within the accounting system.
  • Work closely with the P&L team on valuations and price analysis.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
